If you are new to ownership here are a few useful facts and some tips from other Lambretta owners to help you get the most form your new scoot.

Recommended Tyre Pressures are

Normal Use   Motorway Riding

FRONT 18 PSI  20 PSI
REAR  28 PSI 30 PSI
With Pillion 34 PSI 36 PSI

  • Remember to turn your fuel tap off when you park up to avoid flooding

  • Carry a tested spare spark plug not a brand new one, it may not work!

  • Try to run on the higher octane fuel if you can afford it

  • Use good quality synthetic 2-stroke oil at a 3% mix, dont mix brands

  • If you carry a spare tyre, keep it at the pressure you use for the rear

  • When jetting a carburettor always start rich and slowly go weaker

  • Check the chaincase filler plug hole does not become blocked, as
this can lead to increased engine pressure and oil seal failure

If you suffer from loose exhaust nuts or simply want to try to prevent them from coming loose then you can try using an old chainguide washer tab cut in half and bent round to prevent your nuts from coming loose.
